Well this won’t be too much of a review since I only got the expo pass for only one day, last Saturday. I was mainly traveling to ShareASale’s ThinkTank, so I figured I would make a quick stop in Vegas for BlogWorld.
I arrived first thing in the morning and met up with my buddy Logan Thompson and headed over to the expo hall. I have to say I was pretty disappointed in the size of the expo hall, granted I’m sure most of the people go to the sessions.
I heard over and over “How can I make money from or on my blog?” but yet there was only one CPA company, along with Share A Sale. It seems that some affiliate companies are missing out on some new affiliates.
Eric treated Logan, Ryan, and me to lunch, it was pretty good. We had some great conversation. After that I went back to the hotel to check in and went up to my hotel to take a nap, but ended going back to the show to check out the closing keynote with Logan, Chris Guthrie. The panel included Rob Barnett, Penn Jillette, Adam Corolla, Mark Malkoff, Cali Lewis and Jeff Hayzlett.
I have to say that Jeff Hayzlett is the only one who I pretty much got the most out of, so much so I ordered his book The Mirror Test: Is Your Business Really Breathing?
After that we all headed back up to our rooms and took a quick break before heading to dinner. After dinner I was so flipping tired that I just head back up to my room and went to bed. Believe it or not, it was about 10PM when I did, I was in Vegas, what was I thinking?
Tomorrow will be my SAS ThinkTank overview.
