The Night Before Affiliate Summit

It was the night before Affiliate Summit when all through New York…..(Alright that was cheesy)

I just wanted to give a quick update on my trip to Affiliate Summit East in New York.

I took an early flight out of Seattle hoping to get into New York around 5:00 PM local time. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case; our plane left from the gate a little late only to see there for a little while, finally the captain stated that the ground crews notice that one of the tires may have been a little low. He didn’t want to take the plane cross country with any issues, (Thank You!). So when it seemed like a couple hours, it was only about 35 minutes.

When we were over the Midwest the plane we hit some turbulence, now I have flown a lot over the years, but this was the first time I actually got a little nervous. That doesn’t happen to me too often.

I had dinner plans at 6:30 with my buddy Logan Thompson and my business partner David Ochoa; well of course with the delay of my flight, I was still in the cab at that time. I got a hold of Logan and the restaurant and changed the reservations to 7:30PM.

We finally arrive, got checked in, grabbed our badges, and headed over to Bistro Milano, a little Italian joint right near the hotel, and it was fantastic. If I ever come back to New York I will be hitting up that place again.

Afterwords we decided to head down to Times Square, when we arrived we all pretty much had the same thought, man this place is small. We all to in the sights and the sounds, after that we pretty much headed back to the hotel to catch some shut eye, to tackle day 1 of affiliate Summit.
