My Prosper202 Experience Update
About 10 days ago I told you that I was going to give Propser202 another chance and this time everything is going very well. I have only had one little problem, that was fixed within a couple hours other than that it’s running smoothly.

Horrible Week Last Week
As some of you may have known my father was in the hospital all of last week with several different problems with his digestive system. He finally had surgery on Friday morning to help with his problems. I am happy to say that he is doing well and should recover nicely.
So needless to say with that on my mind, I didn’t get anything done, let alone get motivated to do anything as my mind was on my father. Every time I tried to do anything, I couldn’t concentrate for more than a couple of minutes.
I have a long list of items to be completed along with writing some new blog post.
I thank all of those who sent their thoughts and prayers along to me, they really meant a lot.

How Spammers are Using Your vBulletin Forum
Right before the 4th of July Holiday I was doing some regular maintenance on one of my forums and discover that spammers are finding a new little way of spamming your forums without even posting a post or sending private messages.
So what are they doing?
Well since the new vBulletin 3.7 came out with the new expand profile comments where yourself or other members of the forums can leave a messages. Well spammers are now using this comment section to show their porn links or whatever else spam link they have. Here is an example:
I have installed a new spambot system, but you really can’t stop the human spammers. But if you have had what you thought was a spammer but didn’t post or send private messages. Check out their profile, you might just find something.

Giving Prosper202 One More Chance
After the last Seattle Affiliate Group Meet-up this past weekend. I talked with Steven Truong of Prosper202. While we were there I told him that I was going to give it another chance he let me know if I need any help.
Later that evening I sent him an e-mail explained the things in detail of what I was doing and we cleared up the things to hopefully get it working right for me.
Reason being is that my “testing” (with Propser202). I have a landing page with 9 offers that were going to 2 separate affiliate programs and traffic is coming from a multiple PPC networks.
See you’re already confused, Aren’t you?
So here is to a long term relationship with Propser202. I will let you know the results in the next couple of days to see how I did and if I got it right.

The 40 Year Old College Student
That is right after being out of school since 1986, a little over 22 years ago, I have decided to go back to school and take some computer classes. I will be going for my AA in Computer Science. After the first year I will get a certificate for an Applications Developer.
I have always been pretty good at html and some php. But I wanted to get into more SQL database development, XML, and Java.
So no I am not getting out of the business of forums or affiliate marketing. This will just make it so I can do most of my programming and not hire out as much.
So am I crazy? Or is this a good thing?
