NeverBlueAds Update

by on August 22, 2008

According to my (now former) AM at NeverBlue, I will be getting paid via wire transfer this morning. So we will see. I will update as soon as I hear something. It’s really a shame that it has come to this, but sometimes blog posts seem to put things in motion faster.

Edit:I successfully received my wire transfer yesterday and had a great talk with my AM and he completely understands for me pulling all my campaigns with them. So I will still stand firm and I will not be using NeverBlueAds anytime soon. It’s nothing personal, it’s just business.

Okay so here it goes!

So it all started back in May when I received my first check from NeverBlueAds, for April’s revenue. The check arrived to me without my physical street address on it, just had my name, city, state and zip, somehow it got to me. So of course my first phone was to NBA and letting my AM know about the error. I figured that was the end of it, well I was wrong.

So June comes for May’s revenue, about the 21st and still nothing I called my AM and asked him to look into it, all I wanted to know was my check sent to me again without my address on it. My AM said that he would look into it and get back to me. Well he did, just to tell me that it was sent out on the 15th and that was it. He told me to call back in a week if I haven’t received it.

A week later still no check. So I called and guess what? He’s on vacation, so I call the front desk and asked to speak to the accounting department and she tells me that I need to speak with my AM and before I could say he is on vacation, bam I was in his voice mail.

So I decided to call my business development manager, I know this is not his job to handle the situation, but I was getting pissed off. So he gave me the same answer, the check was sent out on the 15th NBA all I wanted to know was my check sent out with my physical address on it, Is it that fuckin’ hard?

Now we are in the first week of August and still no check (From May’s revenue), no communication from NBA letting me know that maybe my check was sent back to them with no address on it and they will send out a new one. Nada! Nothing!

So again I call up my AM to get this situation taken care of, because now it’s not about the money it’s about the principle and customer service. I was told he would check on it and get back to me. Check on it? This is being going on for well over a month now. So a few days later, I had to call and find out what is going on and he tells me that he hasn’t heard back from accounting yet. So he says he will go down and talk to them and find out what’s going on. Well what the hell have you been doing every time I call? He calls me back and lets me know that my check will be sent out with my July’s check.

So today I am still waiting for both checks.

One thing I did find out is that NBA offers PayPal payments; you would have thought with the problems I was having they would have offered me that, but again, no communication.

So I have pulled all my NeverBlue campaigns and I have chosen to no longer do business with them. I am sure I’m going to hear from people about how NeverBlueAds is a great company and they have never had problems with them, I am not saying they are a bad company; they just didn’t work out for me.

Felt like I haven’t written a blog post in awhile. Anyway I have been really busy changing all my PPC tracking over Prosper202 which has taken up a lot of time lately. Plus it was so hot at the end of last week, the family and I headed up to the cabin for the weekend.

Plus, I have pulled all my campaigns that were running with NeverBlueAds. It’s a little bit of a long story and I might do a write up on more about later this week. But let’s put it this way, I am still waiting to get paid from June and now of course July’s payment will hopefully be here this week along with June’s. As of about a week ago I am no longer doing business with NeverBlueAds. After writing this, maybe I will do a blog post….stay tuned
