My business partner, David Ochoa and I have hoped onto the Poken bandwagon and created an image site where you can upload images of you and/or of your Poken. The site is WorldPokenTour.com
We are currently in limited beta release, as we are working on an easy upload script and some other back-end stuff. But you can still send us your images and we will post them right away.
We thought it would be a fun site for people to take pictures of their Pokens and show them either out on the town, at conferences, or just hanging out at home. Some are getting addicted to these and they are just starting to make a splash in the US.
So for those who don’t know what a Poken is.
A Poken is a tiny USB key with an embedded RFID reader/transmitter. When you “High Four” with another Poken it passes all of your pertinent information between Pokens. You then plug the Poken into a computer and connect to your online manager and you can then “add” that person to your contact list.
The contact information includes all of your social media contact information including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Flickr and a bunch more.
So please check it out and let us know what you think and if you want to send us your images you can use the upload an image link on the site. You can also subscribe to the WPT blog where will be updating the newest released Pokens as well as some cool updates.

I am really excited about this new site. It has a very slow start, but am happy about our first ‘organic’ submission – from an official Poken employee none-the-less!
