Microsoft buying ad auction site

Looks like Microsoft just keeps adding to their advertising to catch up with Google and Yahoo.
Microsoft Corp. said it’s buying AdECN, an auction marketplace for online display advertising, for an undisclosed price.
AdECN operates like a stock exchange, buying ads for advertisers and selling ads for publishers, according to the Carpinteria, Calif., company.
The deal is a “key component of Microsoft’s strategy to develop a comprehensive search and display advertising platform helping advertisers and publishers to maximize return on investment on their digital advertising investments,” according to a statement from the Redmond computer giant
