vBSEO

Well, looks like it slowed down this week with Google, not sure what happened there. I assume it will make a comeback next week.

Yahoo was all over my site the past couple of weeks. At one point I had over 2000 Yahoo Slurps within a 24 hour period on the site.

So revenue did drop about 9% from the prior week, but overall has been up since installing vBSEO.

Here are the results from the 3 search engines from June 3rd through June 10th 2007 with differences since last week:

Google: 3920 Down 3130 (Ouch!)
Yahoo: 13,880 Up 788
MSN: 384 Down 13

I am still happy with the results and everything that has come with it. I wish I would have done this from the beginning.

Revenue continues to be up and have also gained some more new members again. So I am happy with that.

I had a pretty go jump in MSN results and traffic coming from MSN. Google took a tiny drop and I am not worried. Yahoo continues to rise.

Here are the results from the big 3 search engines from May 27th to June3rd 2007 with differences since last week:

Google: 7,000 -50
Yahoo: 13,473 +381
MSN: 397 +109

Next week I will update stats for the 1st half of May compared to the second half after installing vBSEO.

Well I must say after the first week, I am very impressed with the vBSEO results for the first full week since installing it on my Demolition Forum.

Not only is revenue up about 13%, I have also gained 15 New Members! 15 in one week’s time is amazing to me for such a small niche of a site as mine. At times I was lucky to get 1 or 2 a week.

So without further ado here are the results from the big 3 search engines from May 19th to May 26th 2007 with differences since last week:

Google: 7,050 +810
Yahoo: 13,092 +158
MSN: 397 -56

Even though MSN was down, most of my organic traffic comes from Google and Yahoo anyway.

I am happy with the results. So much so I have purchased another copy for another forum of mine and will be installing it in the next couple of weeks.

Looking forward to seeing what happens next week.

Well this weekend not only did I upgrade my demolitionforum.com to 3.6.7, I also picked up and VBSEO license to see what it would do for my forum.

Here are the results from a site:demolitionforum.com search on various search engines on May 18th 2007 8 hours prior to installing VBSEO:

Google – 6240
Yahoo – 12,934
MSN – 453

I will try and update these search engine results on a weekly basis. Using Google Analytics I will keep track of where traffic is coming from. Here are the stats of visits between April 17th and May 17th I will update these stats on a monthly basis:

I will be also tracking registration using funnels via Google Analytics. So I will also keep track of those also as well as Adsense and other affiliate income associated with it.

Now for the biggest question that most of you are wondering. Why install VBSEO on a demolition forum. It is such a niche forum that how many people really are looking for information on demolition, you would be amazed. But I thought I would try it here first and if I am successful with it, I will add it to all my other forums.
