Late last night I realized that my Demolition Forum has been running vBSEO for a little over a year now. So I wanted to put some quick numbers together and let you know how it’s gone for the past year.

I installed vBSEO on May 18th of 2007, since then obviously have had some growth over that period, in members, post and revenue. Here are some numbers and stats.

Page rank increased for a pr2 to a pr4, although I don’t put much stock in page rank, that’s just my opinion. But I figured people might ask.

From May 18th 2007 to May 18th 2008 the monthly averages, using Google Analytics are listed below. The numbers in parentheses are the increases from the year prior to installing vBSEO:

2,346 Visitors per month (+ 21%)

26,669 Page Views per month (+50%)

Traffic Wise for the year, almost 13.5% of our traffic came from Google and 10.73% came from Yahoo.

Can I say vBSEO had an impact? I don’t know for sure. It’s really hard to say.

Let me know what else you would like to know or see.

vBSEO September Update

by on October 12, 2007

I have been busy working on an outside project, that I forgot to update my September traffic for Demolition Forum.

It was done as I knew it would have been, generally this is a slow time of year in the industry. Plus due to the weird weather in the East and Midwest has made it even slower. I look at things picking up around the 1st of November.

I thought I would do something a little different this time. I would post the traffic comparisons of search engines from July to August:

Yahoo Traffic was up 33.26%
Google traffic was up 5.81%
MSN traffic was down 65.26%

I discovered that I have a link on the “How Stuff Works” and I had an increase of over 250% from that site alone in August and looks like September will blow that out of the water.

Back in Town!

by on September 5, 2007

Well I took a little break for the holiday and am back and getting into the grove again.

I am currently spending the day sorting through the e-mails and private messages that I received while I was gone. Seems like that will take a day just to take care of those by themselves, but hopefully I can get it cut down to just a couple of hours.

Update on Let’s Talk Music

I am currently working on the September newsletter and I hope to have it completed by the end of the day, with it being sent in the morning.

vBSEO Update

I will post screen shots in the morning for traffic in August versus July’s traffic. As you saw from my earlier post, July’s traffic was crazy almost a 75% increase over June’s traffic. Let’s hope the trend continues.
