I have had a few people call and e-mail me to see how we are doing with all the rain we have been having.
We are doing just fine, no damage, no flooding around our neighborhood.
I had to attend a funeral yesterday so I had to leave the house and it was raining so hard, I thought it would never stop. We had close to 5†of rain in less then 12 hours and close to 8†in the 24 hours.
It has been crazy around here and it’s going to be days before everything gets back to normal.
So to those who e-mailed and called, thanks for checking in.
Well I haven’t blog in a little while do to the fact that I have been spending sometime working on doing some more affiliate marketing and getting some new stores up and running for the holidays.
I have been looking at new ways to monetize my forums and some of my websites lately and Google Adsense just isn’t cutting it anymore. My revenue has decreased substantially, yet my visits and pages views have increased. So I put up a couple of banners from CJ and Azoogle and my revenue increase almost immediately.
Yep, I said it. I love Mondays!
There is nothing like coming into the office on a Monday morning and see how all my CPA and PPC campaigns went for the weekend. It was a great weekend!
I don’t spend that much time on the computer during the weekends, its family time for me. I usually “sign†off the computer on Fridays around 3:00 P.M. my time and don’t look at reports until Mondays.
Plus with Mondays, I love seeing what the week will also hold for everything.
Speaking of family time, yesterday we went to Maris Farms so the kids could play around. We all had a great time and will highly recommend it to all our friends and neighbors.

I have been busy working on an outside project, that I forgot to update my September traffic for Demolition Forum.
It was done as I knew it would have been, generally this is a slow time of year in the industry. Plus due to the weird weather in the East and Midwest has made it even slower. I look at things picking up around the 1st of November.

As you read through all the many forums, blogs and newsletters, then listening to all podcasts and watching all the videos to gain the knowledge of what works and what doesn’t. People tell you how you can become rich overnight by doing this and doing that. You spent not only countless hours reading these rich quick programs, you have also wasted your money on them. I am not saying all of them are scams or schemes, but they are making more money by you for “buying†into their program.
I know because about 6 months ago I was there, buying into everyone’s program, e-books and all the other stuff that went along with it. If I just saved my money and learned to do things on my own by testing and testing again until I got it right would have been far better off.
I was doing well with revenue on the forums that I own and was looking to expand to other ways of not only marketing and promoting my forums, but how to cash in on them also. So I came upon affiliate marketing and the rest, so to speak is history.
Being able to attend the Affiliate Summit would not only help me learn from those who have actually been there, but also to expand my horizons to find out those little niches that only people attending the conference. Those who attend are those who have been there and done that, not the “quick rich” ones who are trying to sell you their e-books.
I am not looking for the fast quick rich methods anymore. I am in for the long haul now!
