At the beginning of October, Deal Dot Com ran a contest for their Dealdotcom Idol. The winner would receive a $1000 in DealDotCom bucks.
Well the winner was Red Matrix by winning 37% of the votes. He was told that he won via an e-mail he received on October 7th from dealdotcom:
Yes, you have won. We’ll be making the official announcement this week.

Well to date there has been no official announcement that he had won. But what’s worse yet, they haven’t even paid up.
In response to his e-mail that he sent them finding out when his “bucks†will be credited to his account, this is what he stated on the 21st of October:
They thanked me for being patient, and said they would look into it.
Look into it? PAY THE MAN!

Here is the funniest part, it wasn’t addressed to me, it was addressed to my son!

The California wildfires are quickly getting out of hand and its devastating to see how much is burning and how fast. I was born and raised in California and it’s hard to watch what is happening.
Right now over 250k households have been evacuated in San Diego and tons of homes have burned. George Bush has already declared a State of Emergency.

I just wanted to let you all know that we are having a get together for affiliate managers and marketers in the Seattle area for a little Holiday get together.
Join myself, Phil Andrews from Earth Class Mail and hopefully Angel Djambazov from PopShops for a casual gathering in Seattle.
If all goes well we will make this a quarterly or even monthly event.
