I thought I would do something a little different this time. I would post the traffic comparisons of search engines from July to August:
Yahoo Traffic was up 33.26%
Google traffic was up 5.81%
MSN traffic was down 65.26%
I discovered that I have a link on the “How Stuff Works” and I had an increase of over 250% from that site alone in August and looks like September will blow that out of the water.

I got an e-mail today from Patrick Gavin, the new owner of AuctionAds, as did all the other 20K or so publishers of AuctionAds.
But why did you wait so long?
Look I know that companies have growing pains, but to send out an e-mail almost 2 months later, to me at least is unacceptable. I think they have lost a lot of publishers since the purchase, like me and many others that I know.
Patrick runs another great company with Text Link Ads and I hope he will turn the tide with Auction Ads, but it maybe just a little too late.
Finally he addresses the concerns for all those who were concerned about the tracking issues:
“We are aware that some publishers experienced ad serving and tracking issues in mid August and we are happy to report those issues have been resolved.â€
I would love to here if you saw any changing in your stats.
I think this is a great program and I wish it was working like it did after the first couple of months, before all the problems, but I will not be using them in the foreseeable future.

Well I took a little break for the holiday and am back and getting into the grove again.
I am currently spending the day sorting through the e-mails and private messages that I received while I was gone. Seems like that will take a day just to take care of those by themselves, but hopefully I can get it cut down to just a couple of hours.

vBSEO Update
I will post screen shots in the morning for traffic in August versus July’s traffic. As you saw from my earlier post, July’s traffic was crazy almost a 75% increase over June’s traffic. Let’s hope the trend continues.
