Today Yahoo! Publisher Network announced that publishers in their network now have the option to be paid via PayPal, rather than by check or by electronic funds transfer.
In addition to the greater flexibility and convenience offered by PayPal, publishers who opt in will enjoy a reduced payment threshold, from $100 to just $50.
I am wondering how long it will take for Google Adsense to follow.

I thought I would share these with everyone. These were taken yesterday, Memorial Day at the Tahoma National Cemetery which is about 8 miles from my home in Kent, WA.
The rules state that only on Memorial Day may flags be placed on or at the grave sites. These pictures just make for a moving experience.
It was a picture perfect day and I thought these turned out great.

Well I must say after the first week, I am very impressed with the vBSEO results for the first full week since installing it on my Demolition Forum.
Not only is revenue up about 13%, I have also gained 15 New Members! 15 in one week’s time is amazing to me for such a small niche of a site as mine. At times I was lucky to get 1 or 2 a week.
So without further ado here are the results from the big 3 search engines from May 19th to May 26th 2007 with differences since last week:
Google: 7,050 +810
Yahoo: 13,092 +158
MSN: 397 -56
Even though MSN was down, most of my organic traffic comes from Google and Yahoo anyway.
I am happy with the results. So much so I have purchased another copy for another forum of mine and will be installing it in the next couple of weeks.
Looking forward to seeing what happens next week.

You often think to yourself how can I promote my forum? How can I make money?
Take some lessons from Gene Simmons. Yes that Gene Simmons, the bassist/singer for Kiss. Look how he has made more money from Kiss merchandise, by promoting and coming up with new ideas and products then he did with the band. How did he do this, by thinking outside the box.
I was watching his show, Family Jewels on A&E the other day and found out he was losing 20K from an investment in a bull farm.
So what did he do? Well he went directly there and say; “How can I make money with this?†He took a look around the farm and was thinking outside the box, a golf course, and a buy your own bull farm, anything just to make some money.
Finally after talking with the farm hands, the farm hands and Gene came up with selling the sperm from the bulls where they were making massive amount of money per bull.
What does this have to do with you and your forums? Sometimes you have to take a step back and start thinking outside the box.

Well this weekend not only did I upgrade my demolitionforum.com to 3.6.7, I also picked up and VBSEO license to see what it would do for my forum.
Here are the results from a site:demolitionforum.com search on various search engines on May 18th 2007 8 hours prior to installing VBSEO:
Google – 6240
Yahoo – 12,934
MSN – 453
I will try and update these search engine results on a weekly basis. Using Google Analytics I will keep track of where traffic is coming from. Here are the stats of visits between April 17th and May 17th I will update these stats on a monthly basis:
I will be also tracking registration using funnels via Google Analytics. So I will also keep track of those also as well as Adsense and other affiliate income associated with it.
Now for the biggest question that most of you are wondering. Why install VBSEO on a demolition forum. It is such a niche forum that how many people really are looking for information on demolition, you would be amazed. But I thought I would try it here first and if I am successful with it, I will add it to all my other forums.
